I think I’ve read at least 3/4 of this book crying and I’m a bit more than halfway through. this is ridiculous

and all John Green’s fault.

Into my pockets
Removing their contents

I flinch for a moment
But fall back
She takes what she wants

Her lips brush against my ear
Red and dripping with
What I want to hear

Forgetting myself
My own face
A distant memory

She moves with precision
Of the most skilled lovers
Inducing a trance of oblivion

Her love is cheap
At market price
With no contract to sign

Eyes rolled back
I see nothing
I hear nothing

But the sound
Of her lilting voice
Against my ear
